As a retail professional, my journey has been a wonderful, winding experience starting in stores as a teen-aged, fashion-obsessed sales associate. Since then, I have been a merchant, a photoshoot coordinator, a stylist, and alas, a copywriter-where my heart, and skill-set, truly lies. My vast experience in the industry has given me a rich understanding of how a brand must communicate with its key client in all areas of the business. A writer at heart, my passion is identifying that customer and making a connection through compelling messages and storytelling.
As the founder of Columbus Flea, I use my creative and organizational skills to orchestrate four seasonal markets a year. Each event features an assortment of hand-selected vendors purveying a wide variety of wares, such as original art, vintage clothing, records, woodwork, leather craft, and more. Sure, it's fun-but it has also strengthened my creative fibers in regards to marketing, social media, and merchandising.
